S.M.I.L.E.

Although Stephanie Rose has kept the vow of secrecy she made with The Evil Mrs. Trapp, her cheerleading coach, she's been cut from the squad. Stephanie cannot figure out why she has been cut and she dare not tell her parents about the situation. Telling parents definitely violates the secrecy vow the squad made. Stephanie's parents are very confused and concerned with her inability to talk about things, so they send her to Brenda, a psychologist. Brenda has Stephanie write a journal. In her journal, titled "S.M.I.L.E.", Stephanie is able to open up and talk about the things she dare not tell anyone. The squad, including her best friend, Amy Cartman, and The Evil Mrs. Trapp's daughter, Linda, did the same things; however, only Stephanie was kicked off the squad. Why?
