Ancient Mounds of Watson Brake: Oldest Earthworks in North America

Reca Jones discovered the oldest earthworks in the Western Hemisphere near her home near Monroe, Louisiana. In these eleven mounds at Watson Brake, she found round beads and fire-cracked rocks. This fictional picture book follows two children as they learn about this real-life discovery from Reca herself.
