The Steps of Sanford

A story of love, tragedy, and vengeance leads to a surprising consequence for a wonderfully in-love couple. None, except some deity of fate, could envision anything so devastating would befall them. What they experience would try the souls of most and challenge the strengths of all. The events of their life leading up to a horrible tragedy are told through the eyes of a distressed husband seeking to find the strength to go on without his beloved wife in a setting filled with her memories. The setting is a rustic cabin in the North Georgia Mountains where they have spent their most joyous times together. Suspense builds as their love and near-enchanted life unfolds. Not until the events of her leaving are revealed will the reader understand the extent of the tragedy, the character of the man reliving the story, and what lengths he will go to in attempting to recover her while seeking to bring justice against what has taken her from him.
