In Pretava, tales were told of fearsome Demons, legendary warriors from far-away lands at the ends of the world. Though small in stature, it was said, they fought like creatures mad with blood lust, and few indeed had ever escaped their evil.

In living memory, no one had been brave enough - or foolish enough - to sail around the Devil's Horn. But now, blown hopelessly off course by the storm of magic, those aboard The Triumph have no choice. They are headed to the forbidding shores of Drey. Has their search for an explanation of the mysterious fate of the Elves come to an ignominious end? Or are there allies - even friends - among the Demons?
