Ann Covington was at the top of the world. Not only is she a prominent attorney and lesbian romance writer, but now she can even add ‘screenwriter’ to her resume now that one of her books was going to be made into a movie.

There was a time when she would list her relationship with her partner of ten years, Kathy, as one of her many accomplishments. But even though things with Kathy have grown strained - Ann takes her commitment to Kathy seriously and assures herself that they are just going through a rough spot.

Then in walks Casey Duncan, the actress who is going to play the lead in Ann’s movie. Will Casey turn Ann’s world upside down?
