Tortured Red Bottoms: A Study of Spanking in Everyday Life

Twack! Smack! Crack! Oh the familiar sounds of spanking fiction--only, in this case, or these cases, this is not fiction but fact. You will meet real people who talk about real spanking in real lives. The question is: why is spanking so popular? In the bedroom, in our sex lives, in books? What makes it so sexy and titillating? Does it go back to when we were children and being disciplined by that fearful parental hands? Is it the endorphins released into the blood stream? The taboo nature of lust mixed with pain? Or is it something more base and primitive? This study focuses on male and female subjects who have explored the sensuality of spanking in their sex lives--between dating couples, married couples, people who just met, people who work together--and told their stories to me to better understand just why it is they enjoy this behavior.
