Wild Peace

Ross Andrews is an environmental scientist and educator who works for the Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department and for the Center for Education, Imagination and the Natural World in Burlington, North Carolina. Ross's love of nature emerged from Boy Scout backpacking trips in the Blue Ridge Mountains outside of Charlottesville, Virginia. He began writing poetry under the giant oaks and poplars of the UNC Chapel Hill campus as an undergraduate student. Ross now lives near Steep Hill Creek above Yates Mill Pond in Raleigh, North Carolina.
