This work of fiction follows our heroine of STONE AND MORTAR in which Jane posed as a priest to open the eyes of the world to the inequity of the discrimination in the Catholic faith as far as the rejection of women in holding positions of authority. In ETB, Jane, with the help of her loving husband, Enrique, and her two life long friends, Rosemary and Cindy, takes on another worldly cause. She runs for President of the United States, with the express purpose of preventing the implosion of America. She survives a vicious primary republican campaign, along with an even more vicious campaign against the sitting president, to win the White House. Finding it impossible to reach any type of compromise with an inflexible democratically controlled House of Representatives and Senate she takes heroic action to avert the downfall of America from runaway spending, massive deficits and debt. It is through her sacrifice the United States is brought back from the brink.
