The teacher’s version of Talent Development Secondary's Discussion Guide to Langston Hughes' acclaimed poetry collection The Dream Keeper and Other Poems, this manual begins with an introduction, biography of the poet, and tips for teaching poetry. Units of study for eleven selected poems include background-building options and vocabulary words, highlight important literary devices and features, provide discussion questions and answers, and suggest literature-related writing and extension activities.
