Student's Discussion Guide to Hatchet

The student’s version of Talent Development Secondary's Discussion Guide to Gary Paulsen's classic young adult adventure novel Hatchet includes selected vocabulary words, highlights important literary devices and features, suggests literature-related writing and extension activities, and provides space for brief constructed responses to questions on each chapter. A brief biography of Paulsen and suggestions for further reading are also included. This curriculum, developed at Johns Hopkins University, is used in schools across the country.
