This is a true story about one mother's journey through grief after the sudden death of her son and how she learned to cope with this loss. Along the way she was able to re-establish her relationship with God. ABOUT THE AUTHOR M.C. Crews is a wife, mother, grandmother, nurse practitioner and Parish Nurse. She has over 35 years of experience caring for critically ill patients and their families. She was previously a Stephen Minister, assisting church members with their emotional and spiritual problems. She never imagined that one day she would have to apply those skills to her own situation. She currently volunteers at her church as a career coach for Project Hope, a church sponsored program to help underprivileged adults overcome the cycle of poverty, and assisting with the grief support groups. She lives in Plano, Texas with her husband of 40 plus years.
