Flightdeck Flash: Wings Of Gold

Victor's main character is Rob "Flash" Newman. He secures a place at the Naval Academy to begin his training to become an Officer with the U.S. Navy. In the Rose Bowl, as Quarterback for Navy, Rob leads the Midshipmen to a National Championship. Later, Rob graduates from the Naval Academy in the top five percent of his class! After he graduates, Rob "Flash" Newman becomes a Naval Aviator and goes to Vietnam. Afterwards, he works his way up in the U.S. Navy. His son, Dan "Flashlight" Newman also becomes a Naval Aviator and later decides to become a Navy Chaplin!
