Life Survivor

As a teenager, writing in a diary was Cahira’s only release. That diary was to be left behind after her suicide as an explanation to why she did something so drastic. Over the following years Cahira’s diary remained with her. It takes her from a seventeen-year-old planning her suicide to a victim of domestic abuse, to a survivor. As time passed, Cahira began to learn about depression and abuse. Whereas she was once weak she became strong. Without being aware of it Cahira became a survivor of life. She still had times of weakness. Each time she had an attack of depression she came out stronger and wiser for it. These are those diaries. They cover a span of thirteen years.
