Becoming a Santa: A Guidebook for Parents and Santa's Helpers

The story begins with a mysterious visitor approaching a young counselor in New Orleans, Louisiana, claiming to be the real live Santa Claus and requesting his help in writing a book. At first the counselor is skeptical. Then after a great deal of effort, the counselor is finally convinced that he is truly speaking with the real Santa and agrees to help him. The second half of the book is a how-to guide, which assists parents who incorporate the Santa legend into their holiday celebrations and the Santa helpers who wear the red coat and hat.
