Logan Black is the current lord of Blackhawk Manor. He is a vampire with a heart, so to speak. The only ones who know what he truly is are his cook and valet. Victoria, a.k.a. Tori, is the granddaughter of a gypsy crone. Victoria is on her way to Blackhawk Manor when she is sidetracked by a winter ball. When she shows up, they notice each other. As they dance, she is being pursued by an evil, vile creature known as the “master.” They are told that the other person is dead. Years later, the young couple meets again. This time it’s on road to Blackhawk Manor, where Logan rescues her from a highwayman. When she reaches Blackhawk Manor, she wants to be safe from the creature that follows her wherever she goes. And the two lost lovers come together for all eternity.
