Skip Kurtz spent more than half of his life touring as a professional entertainer. Unfortunately, playing poker, gin rummy, or having long talks into the wee hours with band members or camp followers can only fill one’s cup of interest so long. Eventually, Skip began putting his thoughts on paper in verse, and though many years have passed since, they still have a certain relevancy to life today.
