Ellie Forrester is a typical American girl who has the perfect life. She has it all, from popularity in high school, a wicked fashion sense, and the captain of the football team—not to mention, Jennifer Aniston as her next door neighbor. The seventeen-year-old blonde beauty resides in the vibrant city of Los Angeles in her Cinderella-like mansion. Her life is like a magical fairytale, but in every fairytale there are always rival enemies, heartaches, and conflicts. For Ellie, the news of moving to a country that isn’t as glamorous as France or Italy is a total nightmare, especially when that country is India. When moving to India isn’t enough to send her into a major meltdown, she winds up in a dance competition that is held every year in Mumbai after striking a deal with her school’s rival, Kangana Gujral. Lucky for Ellie, she has Dia and Shahid Chopra, along with the rest of the dance team to help her out, but when they find out Ellie has bent the truth about being a good dancer and appearing in music videos, they try their best to teach her the steps and techniques of Indian dancing.
