The Last Laugh

: Larry the Leprechaun is irate. He lives in an enchanted forest in Ireland and makes his living by loaning gold to other creatures. This loanshark leprechaun is very much the head honcho, until a family moves into the dilapidated house located just next to his woods and encroaches on his kingdom. Through the imaginative writing of James Harrington and the delightful illustrations of John Fitzgerald, Larry's turf comes alive. As his new neighbor's greedy young son, Paudraig, starts snooping around the woods, Larry tries to keep his golden stash a secret. The crafty leprechaun soon meets his match in Paudraig. Both the leprechaun and the boy have good traits and bad ones. The trick is learning to recognize that the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow doesn't always bring you happiness.
