From One Bitch to Another is a tale of two dogs; Belle and Sheba meet in an animal shelter and become fast friends. Belle is a mixed breed and carries a healthy distrust of humans after having survived three years as a feral dog. Sheba is a five-year-old purebred Rottweiler, proud of her noble heritage, and the life of comfort she has led with a loving family. What feisty Belle lacks in breeding, she makes up for with bravery and intelligence. Sheba believes that humans have the right to dominate dogs if they are caretakers and make life comfortable. These two very different "bitches" learn some life lessons together. As the two grow old, the dogs experience hardships in which their survival is tested, but their friendship endures.
