The Ominous Kind

This stunning police drama set in Australia highlights the relationship between two women police officers working together to catch a notorious international arms dealer. Angela Peters and Jemma Collins, along with a team of other agents, are part of a recently formed agency called the International Security Operatives, or I.S.O., whose objective is to convict a villainous criminal named Tonic, who has always managed to slip away from prosecution. The N.Y.P.D. passed on its files to the I.S.O. in an effort to finally put Tonic away. After selling arms to a known terrorist, Tonic's next client is a mafia kingpin. The I.S.O. wants to stop him before that sale can take place. The two policewomen are joined in their investigation by someone who has a high stake in Tonic's downfall, New York Police Officer Lina White, who believes Tonic killed her brother.
