Torment

Daniel W. Shaw is college drop out who is working for the local post office. He's a young man who feels he's in limbo at this stage in his life. Eventually he will be pulled out of the crossroads and thrown into a life of perdition after being mauled by pit bull during one his routes that he walks. The key injury that he sustains from this attack is a deformed face. Faced with an adversity he has never known before, he takes a journey that he hopes that will bring him peace. On his journey he gets involved in a love affair with a married woman that has breast cancer, partakes in pugilism, and finds a job as a teacher's aid in special education. Does this so called "hunchback" ever find sanctuary?
