The Naked Truth Expression of an Addict

This book was inspired from the spirit of a desperate and dying man who has found a way to live and overcome the disease of addiction, not only to drugs but also to a particular lifestyle. My hopes and true desires are that my experiences in both worlds, which I express in a series of poems, will not only touch but also give help and hope to those who have been affected and are struggling to overcome the pain, shame, and remorse of being trapped in the vicious cycle of addiction and the monstrous lifestyle that denies an individual the joys of life. The ability to love, the ability to be mothers and fathers to our children, sons and daughters to our parents, and active and productive members of society. I must let everyone know that the truth is that God can and will deliver. Sometimes he’s early or in the middle of the day but based on my experiences, he has never been late.
