Golden Tassel's Graduation

Four young cornstalks--Golden Tassel, Minigold, Kernel King, and Big Ears--spend the summer in Farmer Kerns's field. In spite of the dangers that threaten their survival, they grow in body, mind, and heart. The maturing cornstalks dream of what contribution they will make at harvest time.  They will find out that, instead of being the end, the harvest is a 'graduation' to a  purpose far beyond what they could have ever imagined! Interwoven into Golden Tassel's Graduation are values such as fully appreciating and utilizing all that is in nature, in dreaming and becoming, in friendship and trust, and learning about farming and harvest time.
