At the dawn of the Christian faith, the seven churches of Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Laodicea, and Philadelphia received the message that would capture the minds and imaginations of Christians the world over for the next two thousand years. In their own way, each group faced Satan's deceptions, with a variety of results. Much as today's Christians, they thought they knew how best to honor God's will. Despite the influence of spiritual giants such as the apostles Peter, John and Paul, they were left to question the meaning of their mentors' words, including those found within the book of Revelation. As they pondered its meaning, and wondered how this book could possibly affect their own spiritual journeys its meaning would remain hidden from them. In our own times, we still do not know the timing of God's will. But with this Revelation of Christ it is possible to know our own significance in God's plan. And so the question remains: when the time comes for Christ to return, will we be prepared? Since its first written record, the book of Revelation has been one of the greatest puzzles that God has ever given mankind to solve. Layered with mysterious symbolism and hidden truths, this Revelation of Christ that was given to the apostle John, produces as many questions as answers. Ultimately, many Christians know that the book of Revelation contains the answers to some of the most important and pressing questions for our destiny with eternity, but few of them actually realize how important it is right now as a guide to their very salvation.
