This splendid collection from the Khedivial Library contains Arabic calligraphy produced from the first century until AH 1240 (AD 1825). Presented here are over 200 digitized images from areas as diverse as the present-day Arab world, Spain, India, and Turkestan. Included are Qur'ans, inscriptions, autographs, decrees, and documents, classified by period and region.
