Biblical Practices of Healing: A Resource for Chaplains and Health Care Providers

In Luke 11:1 we hear Jesus disciples ask a question that still rings loud today, ""Lord teach us to pray"". It could be assumed that anyone who spent time with Jesus and watched him for several years would know how to pray. However, his disciples needed additional assistance with how to pray effectively. We make the same assumptions with believers today in many areas. Going to church or to classes or even to seminary does not translate into practical or effective ministry.
