Present Tense: Poems

This collection of poetry-by this Pushcart Prize nominated poet, whose work has appeared in various literary journals-includes poems from the political to the deeply personal, from the sacred to the profane (and back again), from the humorous to the tragic, and from the streets and neighborhoods of Manhattan to the hills and valleys of memory. They are poems which are as readily accessible and as moving as a subway car, only much cleaner.
