As a Reiki Master/Teacher, I believe that every physical, mental, and spiritual ailment begins with a trapped emotion. With that knowledge I began to release my trapped emotions. I read a lot of books; I went to a lot of practitioners who promised to help. In the end, I did the work myself. After I worked on releasing my emotionally charged events from the past, a new understanding opened for me. New pathways were revealed so that I could use that new information to go further in my self-healing process. Self-healing work is a lot like peeling an onion, and I refer to that often in this series because it is so true. There is another level where we can go deeper. I found more areas to release trapped emotions. For example, I released trapped emotions and mental blocks in my body systems, my chakras, as well as my mind and soul.
