📖 Description
Human resources constitute the most important component of the modern organization. The misguided view that human resource development (HRD) is becoming a concern for organizations and enterprizes only in the Western world is, according to this book, a folly. The need of HRD's contribution to development has not only become accepted, but has also been widely promoted by both the national and international funding and aid agencies in the field. This text presents a selection of contributions which deal with relevant aspects of developing human resources in organizations, mainly within the less developed countries, though it is envisaged that it would be even more realistic to deal with HRD and its related issues in the wider context of developing organizations regardless of their physical locations.
