Molecular Genetics

"Molecular Genetics" discusses the molecular mechanisms of life processes like: DNA structure and function, recombination and mutation, protein synthesis and genetic code. Beginning with the chemistry of proteins, carbohydrates, enzymes, lipids and the nature of the chemical bond followed by DNA structure, its discovery, the Watson-Crick model, its chemistry and the bond angles and energies along with the mechanisms of DNA duplication. Protein synthesis, genetic code and gene regulation that go together in gene action are discussed in detail.
