Careful What You Wish For

Saturday November 4th 2002 was just the start of any other weekend for Mikey Carroll and his girlfriend Sandra. Staying at his aunt's house the couple were at home baby-sitting unable to go out as Mikey was electronically tagged following convictions for theft, destroying property and resisting arrest and Sandra was eight months pregnant. That night they won GBP 9.7 million on the national lottery and within four weeks they were holidaying in Jamaica, living in a mansion and celebrating the arrival of their new baby Brooke but what they were blissfully unaware of was that with every wish that comes true there comes a price. Money and a flurry of new "friends' were to open many new doors and Mikey was to find that money could buy many things but never love or loyalty. Cocaine, women and blackmail shattered his relationship with Sandra and now he is back in prison serving 9 months for array apparently down to his last million.
