Urban Transport XVI: Urban Transport and the Environment in the 21st Century (Wit Transactions on the Built Environment)

This book contains the edited version of most of the papers presented at the 16th International Conference on Urban Transport and the Environment held in Limassol, Cyprus, May 5-7, 2010. The continuing requirement for better urban transport systems in general, and the need for a healthier environment, has contributed to the continuing success of this annual meeting which began in 1995 and attracts delegates from many different countries. This conference meets the need to thoroughly test and critically evaluate innovative systems, new approaches and original ideas before implementation.
