Ideo Gram and Other Stories

In this collection of short stories, Fabio De Siati uses his interpretation of the English language to create a series of snapshots expressing the fracture and displacement of everyday life. In 'The mother' a man is faced with his past when a woman demands maintenance for their son. In 'Sovresso il nido si raggira' a mysterious neighbour disappears into the distance carrying a sign stating 'IWANNAGO' And in 'Cream sglassé' a man returns to a laundrette to visit a woman whose language he cannot understand. These are stories where images collide and characters slip in and out of focus, forcing the reader to search for meaning, both in the stories and beyond.
