Hoodoo: A Psychological Thriller

Hood, an undercover policeman, returns to a past which has haunted him over the years. He is the man with the unfailing reputation, chosen to infiltrate the activities of the gangster Slattery and his mob.

Within hours of his arrival the past intrudes on the present when he meets old flame Ann Renshaw, who is now a councillor, and whose enemies are conspiring against her.

Before he can succeed in his task to uncover Slattery's murky dealings, Ann's tragic circumstances take precedence, and to save her life Hood is driven to sacrifice his honour and integrity - and then sent to investigate his own crimes!

With Ann's corrupt political enemies moving in for the kill and all seeming lost for Hood the suspense is high. Obsession and self-sacrifice appear to have left Hood with nowhere to turn and with Ann's life still on the line. However, there is one twist left, one final unexpected turn of events, which even Hood, the man who had always stayed ahead of his enemy before, could not have anticipated.
