Women, the Environment and Sustainable Development: Towards a Theoretical Synthesis

This volume presents and disentangles the various positions put forward on the environmental dimensions of the development process as they relate to women. The authors clarify the political and theoretical issues at stake and put forward their own ideas on the basic elements needed for a new paradigm.
