Paintings from India (Nasser D. Khalili Collection of Islamic Art)

This is the second volume of rare books and miniatures in the Khalili collection and is devoted to painting in India under the Mughals. The material ranges from the early 16th to the late 19th centuries and includes 76 illustrated manuscripts, album pages and detached miniatures, many of which were commissioned by Mughal emperors.
