Containing, in a concise format, the results of primary research on the stability and compatability of drugs administered by injection, this handbook contains over 280 monographs on commercially-available drugs, listed alphabetically by non-proprietry name. This edition provides 23 new monographs, including six drugs not yet licensed in the USA. Each monograph deals with concentration (formulation, reconstitution), stability, pH, dosage and compatability (with infusion solutions and other drugs). There is further material on more than 50 investigational drugs, and a tabulated section on the composition and characteristics of commercially-available intravenous-infusion drugs.
