Women Dreaming-Into-Art: Seven Artists Who Create from Dreams

Ariadne focuses on several renowned women artists, including Christine Downing, Deena Metzger, Anna Halprin, Carolee Schneemann, Ann McCoy, and Pauline Oliveros, who translate the "living material" of their dreams into literature, art, dance, music, and other modes of expression.
In doing so, they are articulating new symbolic images of great value and importance in understanding both the creativity and spirituality of women, as well as the changes they are making in society.
