Clinical Guide to Pharmacotherapeutics for the Primary Care Provider is a prescribing reference intended for use by physicians, nurse practitioners, advanced RNs, physician assistants and other primary care providers. This Clinical Guide is arranged by diagnosis with each commonly prescribed medication listed and explained. The bulleted format allows for quick and easy access to current comprehensive information. Comments are interspersed throughout, including such clinically useful information as laboratory values to be monitored, patient teaching points, and safety information.

The guide is divided into two sections. Section I presents pharmacotherapy regimens for over 300 clinical diagnoses.
