20th Century NASA History: On the Moon with Apollo 17

NASA's "On the Moon" Apollo guidebooks were written prior to launch by Gene Simmons, Chief Scientist of the Manned Spacecraft Center. Each contains superb details about the mission, science experiments and hardware, lunar landing site, geology, Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV), lunar traverse descriptions and maps, glossary, and a list of acronyms. The Apollo 17 edition - the final of three - was issued in December 1972. Our reproduction contains 140 illustrations, line drawings, and photographs, with dozens of tables and charts. It provides a wonderful review of this historic and exciting flight!
