The awards of the 41 participating countries are dealt with in alphabetical sequence. Most usefully, one of the three appendices lists the various inscriptions that appear on the insignia. Over 160 ribands are illustrated in full colour ogether with some 80 medals in black and white - these are invaluable aids to identification.
