The Knowledge of God
Book Details
Description
So wrote E W Bullinger over 100 years. But if that was the case in his day, how would he have reacted to the current state of affairs where as well as the. Virgin Birth being doubted (denied) so too are the resurrection and the deity of Christ.
However, there is another, more fundamental, personal question, which lies beneath all this. The real question is: How many of us really know the God whom we worship? Is it not the case with very many that it they worship "the unknown god"?
The true knowledge of God can be found only in the Bible and some of the highest revelation of Him is found in three of Paul’s later letters: Ephesians, Philippians and Colossians. However, as Christians become less familiar with the Bible there is a danger that the God they worship becomes the ‘god of their imagination’.
