The story of how Daniel—who loves cats but it very allergic to their fur—has a bionic cat built for him by his neighbor and engineer, Professor George. Boing-Boing is just like a real cat, but with fiber-optic fur, computer-controlled joints, electronic eyes, and ceramic-sensor whiskers. Daniel and Boing-Boing's first adventure together takes place in the Natural History Museum in London, where the friends get more than they bargained for in this delightful gem of a tale.
