Cursing the Cancer

With statistics suggesting that one in three of us will be affected by cancer in our lifetime, it is fair to say that Hazel Kingston has had more than her share. Three years after her husband passed away from the disease, she herself was diagnosed with the illness. At a time when it would have been all too easy to just give up, Hazel was determined that she would not be defined by her condition and instead found sanctuary in her supportive friends and family, her faith and copious amounts of daytime television.
