Adversity, Adoption and Afterwards

Adversity, adoption and afterwards: A mid-life follow-up study of women adopted from Hong Kong provides the findings of a study on the life-long development of Chinese women adopted from Hong Kong to the United Kingdom in early childhood. Both qualitative and quantitative methods were used to discuss implications for policy and practice, adult outcomes, ethnic identification, and international adoption in general.
