Design for Aging Review: '04 (Volume 2)

The projects in these books present the best current work in the field of design for the aging. Each facility featured has been specially selected by an AIA jury. Innovative facilities have overcome large-scale building problems, unyielding regulatory requirements and institutional attitudes to maximize design choices and satisfy changing care expectations. The buildings featured include continuing care retirement communities, assisted living facilities, independent apartments and nursing facilities as well as combined use facilities. The strong demand for the first volume has paved the way for the success of the second volume.
