COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Telecom reform, convergence and growing customer awareness have created opportunities for new applications of wireless technology. Traditional and emerging technologies are combined into network infrastructures that enable the delivery of a growing combination of features and functions. This course provides an overview of wireless technologies and the network infrastructures that embody them. We also explore some of the issues that must be considered when creating network infrastructures.
WIRELESS BUSINESS SOLUTIONS
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Competition among wireless technology providers is intense. One of the determinants of success is the implementation of a business model tailored to the needs and issues of wireless technology customers. This course provides a review of the steps involved in project planning and focuses on the components of a business model for products and services which are based upon wireless computing technologies. Students will gain a better understanding of how to identify and quantify target market, define and quantify customer benefits, and select system components.
