Theme Kits Made Easy

Theme kits help young children develop language, numeracy, and social skills—plus they’re familiar and fun! Theme Kits Made Easy shows teachers how to use themes to make learning exciting and valuable for all children. Provides a tested method for creative theme kits, anti-bias information for using authentic materials, and theme suggestions including fairy tales, folktales, birthdays, and cultural themes.

Leslie Silk Eslinger is a Resource and Training Coordinator in the Neighborhood Child Care Resource Program for the Northwest Interfaith Movement in Philadelphia. She also serves as vice president of the board of directors of the USA Toy Library and presents workshops around the U.S. She lives in Dresher, Pennsylvania.
