Justice Thurgood Marshall, Crusader for Liberalism: His Judicial Biography

A major research work, this study examines one of Americas most distinguished Afro-American jurists from the point of view of his legal and philosophical beliefs as practiced from the bench. This monograph is a product of 31 years of research and investigation and includes material derived from interviews with Justice Marshall and his colleagues on the Supreme Court then and now. Justice Clarence Thomas and his role vis a vie the Marshall legacy is also discussed at length.
