Black Emeralds

Black Emeralds tells the story of corruption and the lust for power and pleasure at the highest levels of the United States government. Vice President Hugh McCormack was to be heir apparent to President Earl Reynolds, but Reynolds is more concerned with his own presidential legacy than McCormack's political future. When Anthracite lobbyist David Bergen learns that a U.S. Air Force base in Germany may have received a shipment of South African hard coal in violation of U.S. law, he is compelled to investigate.
